Our Study Groups

We always welcome new ideas for study groups.  * 3 new groups have been suggested - see panel at bottom of page for details. Please contact Anne Brown if you have a suggestion for a new group. Please note that we are still waiting for ideas from you, the members, as to what other groups you would be interested in and if you are willing to organise a group.

Most of the information on this website is about future meetings.  Our monthly NEWSLETTER (which is either posted or e-mailed to members), often also carries reports of past activities of groups.  To see the current newsletter as a pdf file (you need Adobe Reader) - click here and here for page 2

PLAY READING GROUP
In addition to play reading the intention is to introduce elementary voice control. Not knowing how many members will be interested numbers will initially be limited to 8. At least 50% of the reading will be my own stage and radio plays with the rest of the time devoted to Shaw, Priestley, Coward etc. Sessions are expected to last at least 2 hours. As to the venue I am hoping my home...Shaw Lodge 30 Derby Road will prove suitable.
Please contact Harry Wilson on 342920

"Family History" - would you be interested in learning to research your family history? Do you have any experience or expertise in this area that you could share with a new group?
